Why us

Six reasons why leading clients choose us and stay with us.

01

End-to-End Project Capability

From the initial feasibility study and concept design to construction management and final project handover, Seventeenth March manages the complete project lifecycle with unified oversight and accountability. Clients engage a single, trusted team eliminating the costly coordination gaps, miscommunications, and fragmented responsibilities that arise when consulting and contracting are split between separate firms. Design intent is faithfully translated into built outcomes, and project risks are proactively managed at every stage.

02

Qualified & Certified Professionals

Our leadership and technical team are COREN-registered engineers and corporate members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). Every project we undertake is designed, managed, and executed under expert professional supervision, ensuring strict conformance to applicable regulatory standards, codes of practice, and professional obligations. We invest continuously in the professional development of our team, ensuring our engineers remain current with evolving industry standards, materials science, and engineering methodologies.

03

Local Expertise, Global Standards

Nigeria’s engineering and construction environment is unique, characterised by its own terrain conditions, regulatory frameworks, supply chain realities, and socio-economic dynamics. Seventeenth March combines deep, practitioner-level knowledge of this environment with internationally recognised engineering practices and quality standards. This dual competency gives our clients the best of both worlds: solutions that are globally benchmarked but locally grounded, practical, and executable.

04

Extensive Plant & Equipment

We own and operate a comprehensive fleet of heavy engineering plant and equipment including bulldozers, motor graders, excavators, asphalt plants, vibrating rollers, concrete mixers, water bowsers, tipper trucks, and more. Owning our equipment gives us direct control over project scheduling and continuity, reduces our dependence on third-party plant hire, and minimises the risk of delays arising from equipment unavailability. It also translates into cost savings passed directly to our clients.

05

Commitment to Quality

Quality at Seventeenth March is not a department or an end-of-project checklist — it is an embedded culture that permeates every process we operate, from initial planning and procurement through construction, inspection, testing, and final delivery. Our project managers and site supervisors maintain rigorous work programmes, enforce material and workmanship standards, and ensure that all parties  clients, subcontractors, and suppliers — are informed and accountable at every milestone. We do not accept compromise where quality is concerned.

06

Transparent Communication & Reporting

We believe that informed clients are empowered clients. Throughout every project, Seventeenth March maintains proactive, structured communication with all stakeholders — providing regular progress reports, financial updates, risk notifications, and schedule reviews. Our project managers operate with an open-door ethos, ensuring that clients are never left wondering about the status of their investment.
